14th Anniversary at Access Point Partners

Today, September 6th, Access Point Partners celebrates its 14th Anniversary. What was happening in the business marketplace in 2010? We note these company startups, key product launches, and recall a couple of CEOs who were recognized for their leadership in 2010. 



Beforehand, and most importantly, we thank our corporate clients, from public multinationals to private equity, with and for whom we’ve partnered for 14 years on their leadership needs. We further recognize each successful candidate's appointment and their contributions, accomplishments, and promotions. 



What was happening in 2010?

-IBM’s Watson wins on Jeopardy

-Amazon stock went up 32%....to $9.00

Institutional Investor Magazine publishes its Top CEO List, including:



-Jeff Bezos, Amazon


-Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo


-Larry Ellison, Oracle


-Mark Hurd, HP



In perhaps the biggest recruiting news on this very day, September 6th , 2010, Larry Ellison recruited fellow Top List CEO, Mark Hurd, to join him at Oracle.



For each of these examples, and countless more in companies of all sizes, it's always been the people, teamwork, and leadership - while being bold in pursuing, attracting, and retaining the best - which drove success into the next decade.
