Casual Business Meeting

SHARE A MEMORABLE SEARCH CONVERSATION?

I'd flown to England to meet the billionaire inventor/founder of a famous-brand consumer tech company.  Having completed a tour, our conversation in his office began with him saying, "In order for me to decide whether I want to have you recruit for us, I have a question of you. If you have a dog, what's its personality and does that say anything about you?"

I replied, "We have two Airedale Terriers, which you'll know is a British breed used in WWI trenches and police dogs.  Their personality is described like this: Airedales have a big heart, courage, and while they don't start fights, they finish them.  Yes, that's me."

Laughing loudly, the CEO replied, "Well, then, let's get started working together."
