Marianne Campana Alabaster, Managing Director

Marianne has over 20 years management consulting and executive search experience for corporate clients spanning Fortune 1000 companies, nonprofits, strategy consulting firms, foreign multinationals, commercial building developers, and high growth private enterprises.  Executive search client engagements span President, Vice President, Senior Director, and Director levels.  She also oversees the firm's administration and its research activities.


INDUSTRY CAREER

Prior to executive search, she was co-founder and President of Harmody-Alabaster Associates, Inc., a New York and Greenwich-based consulting firm, and with CB Richard Ellis (formerly CB Commercial Real Estate, now CBRE) focused on client based solutions for long and short term real estate needs for mid-sized and large transactions, serving CEOs, CFOs, General Counsels, and Human Resources leaders in diverse industries including nonprofits (such as VNA), packaging, paper manufacturing, consumer products, transportation, management consulting (McKinsey), and financial services (i.e. USF&G, Skandia Life, WR Berkley, Greenwich Capital Markets).

Besides US corporations, clients have also incuded British, French, and Swedish multinationals.

Corporate-side engagements included teaming with clients' other consultants and stakeholders, in-house HR departments, architectural firms, town and city municipalities, real estate developer teams, marketing and PR firms, and legal counsel.


Marianne's early career included The Equitable in New York City where she advised companies' Human Resources leaders and CEOs regarding corporate planning, strategies, and applications.


COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

She has held officer positions in service organizations in education, town committees, and the performing arts, and has volunteered on state legislative campaigns and local chapters of national organizations such as A Better Chance, the non-profit organization educating diverse inner city students within suburban high schools.



BS, Zoology (Biological Sciences) with interdisciplinary focus in computer science and math in the School of Engineering;  Concentration in Economics, Duke University
